Lorpens T3 Midweight Hiker ECO is a medium thick and reinforced technical sock in T3 technology with cushioning in the sole for any level of trekking except when its very warm. Constructed with PRIMALOFT ECO fabrics, it features a blend of 30% PrimaLoft fibres and 70% PCR materials, providing an environmentally sustainable alternative to yarns made solely from virgin fibre. Used as the next to skin layer in our merino-based Lorpen Tri-Layer socks, PrimaLoft Eco is soft, non-absorbing and very effective at moisture transport. With Merino Wool, the fine micron diameter ensures it feels soft and comfortable next to the skin. Merino has the ability to help keep the foot warm in winter and cool in summer.

Reinforced against friction and chaffing, theT3 Heavy Trekker ECO is thoughtfully designed to keep you cool, fresh and comfortable on hikes up mountains, treks over fells and dales, or on long country walks during the Autumn and Winter when the cold kicks in.

• PRIMALOFT ECO:PRIMALOFT ECO polyester yarn features a blend of 30% PrimaLoft fibres and 70% PCR materials, providing an environmentally sustainable alternative to yarns made solely from virgin fibre.
• MERINO WOOL:Finely crimped and soft wool with staples (fibre lengths) that are commonly 65 100 mm (2.5 4 inches) long and less than 24 microns in diameter. The core of a merino fiber is hydrophilic (water retaining), and is breathable.
• T3 Technology:Three layers that deliver top technical performance: a hydrophobic layer thread in contact with the skin that expels sweat and keeps the skin dry; a hydrophilic layer thread in the outer midsection that wicks sweat away from the skin; and a strong layer thread that protects areas exposed to friction.
